You generally wouldn't think that a Bruno Mars song would be the root of a brutal fight between friends but that's what apparently happened in Greenwood, Indiana last Friday night.  That's when police say 71-year old Roger Washburn and his friend of 50 years were hanging out at Washburn's house.  The two were engaged in conversation when a song came on the radio, to which the claimed it was Bruno Mars. Washburn argued it wasn't.  The man aiming to prove he was right showed Washburn proof that it was indeed a Bruno Mars song.  But it was too late as the two both stood up and continued to argue until Washburn pulled a gun on his friend. The man responded to Washburn's drawn .38 caliber revolver with a profane expression involving a chicken.  That's when Washburn swung his gun at the man, striking the man in the face and arm.  As Washburn was pistol-whipping his friend the gun fired once and then again when Washburn took another swing. Fortunately no one was killed or injured from the two bullets. Apparently it was at that time that the two men realized how silly and dangerous the argument had become and decided to take a break. They alerted police a couple hours later who responded and took statements from both men.  Washburn was taken to jail suspicion of battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.  To the horror of the world, the police report did not say what Bruno Mars song the men were arguing about.
