You wouldn't think tow competition retail outlets would benefit from partnering together but that's exactly what has happened with online retail giant, Amazon, and traditional brick-and-mortar retailer, Kohl’s. The two companies announced that Kohl's will allow Amazon customers to return Amazon orders to any of their store across teh United States. Even more convenient is Kohl's will accept eligible Amazon items, without a box or label, and return them regardless of the reason. The project has been tested in around 100 stores in Los Angeles, Chicago and Milwaukee for a couple of years and it is apparently popular enough and logistically possible for the two entities to expand it across the continuous 48 states. The love between Amazon and Kohl's grew deeper when it was announced last month that Kohl's would expand its product relationship with Amazon by carrying the website's products in more than 200 stores. There is a catch however. Only certain merchandise from Amazon.com is return eligible to local Kohl's stores. Look for further announcements as the program begins a nationwide rollout this year.
