The cleaning eraser is a blessing in the home cleaning business. Stubborn stains such as kid's crayon marks on the wall, scuffmarks on the floor and wine ring stains on the countertops are no match to these wonders of cleaning.  While the instructions say all that is needed is a few drops of water to activate the cleaning properties, replace the water with a few drops of vinegar instead. Pour white vinegar directly on the cleaning eraser, give it a few squeezes to distribute the vinegar throughout the sponge and get cracking!  Acrylic bath tubs and shower stalls, permanent marker on the table and even the cooked mess inside your microwave. Just be careful when it comes to certain materials in which vinegar is not recommended, such as granite countertops which have a protective coating that can be damaged with vinegar.  As for the smell? it will evaporate once the stain is gone and the vinegar dries up. As with any cleaning hack, make sure to test it on an inconspicuous area first.
