Halloween is Thursday and everyone is getting into the spirit, even our AI friends! If you have an Amazon Alexa device, you can activate spooky Halloween sounds by saying, “Alexa, start Spooky Halloween Sounds” and a loop of creepy sounds will start going. The same is true for Google Home. Simply say, "Hey Google, get spooky" will start an hour-long playlist of spooky sound effects and menacing music. If you’re looking for a quick, fun Halloween-themed moment, you can also ask Alexa to “Tell me a scary story” which will result in a roughly 20-second clip of a poem that isn't scary enough to keep away from the kids. By saying, "Hey Google, tell me a spooky story." Google will randomly choose a scary story from Google Play Books or Storynory to read to you. But don't worry, these are children's stories, so the fright level is medium to low.
