Wet Nose Wednesday-5.3.17

Meet June

May 3, 2017

Wet Nose Wednesday on 98.5 KTK is presented by Town and Country Veterinarians and Pet Resort, providing the most comprehensive package of services, free for most adopted shelter pets, including a complimentary stool test, heartworm and flea protection, behavioral counseling and a complete spa bath package! Town and Country Veterinarians and Pet Resort is a proud supporter of Wet Nose Wednesday on 98.5 KTK!

It is with great please that we introduce you to, June!

June is a gorgeous tortoiseshell cat. She is sweet and loves everyone she’s ever met. She would love nothing more than to spend her days with people and other animals. She gets along with dogs and cats and loves kids. All of these amazing qualities are exuded in June. She is truly one in a million.

Despite all of these amazing attributes, she was still abandoned with a litter of kittens. She was found in a cardboard box with her babies, right next to a filthy dumpster. June has since nursed and weaned her kittens and they have all gone on to find loving, forever homes.  June has been patiently waiting for the right family to find her. While she had a tough start, she has not let it tarnish her spirit. She is polished and purrfect.  If June sounds like the pet for you, please submit an application to learn more [CLICK HERE]. If you’d like to request more information, please email VOCAL by [CLICK HERE] or call 352-289-0800.

VOCAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has broken this mission down into 12 key steps to make Marion County a no-kill county. Some of these steps build upon one another, some can be worked in parallel, but all require contributions from people like you. Please consider a monetary donation, donation of needed items or becoming a volunteer.

Cinco de Meow is this Friday 5/5 at our new property 6393 SW 52nd Street Ocala, FL. We will be showcasing our new property and giving tours of where our future spay/neuter clinic will be located. This will be our official kick off for our capital campaign for fundraising for the clinic. We have completed two of three phases of fundraising so we are in the final stretch. We can't open the clinic without community support and donations. The event is from 5pm-7pm. Donations are welcome and accepted at the event. Please rsvp by calling 352-289-0800.
