Help The City Of Ocala With A Vote

November 11, 2016

What makes the Heart of Florida is special is the people who make up our community!  When there is a chance to improve our lifestyle with art and music, we are on board.  But this time, it is entirely up to you and we want to help!  The city of Ocala and The Marion Cultural Alliance has been selected to participate in the Levitt Amp Grant competition that would provide funding for a summer concert series bringing in dozens of bands from all genres of music that would be free for the public to attend. To be considered one of the finalists, votes from each participating city will be tallied and the top 15 cities with the most votes will receive funding to create a minimum of 10 free outdoor concerts presented over 10 to 12 consecutive weeks during 2017, which is another family-friendly event for Ocala that is of no charge to you or to the city.  So if you’d like the City of Ocala to be one of the 15 cities to receive this free grants for a free concert series, please click here to cast your vote.  Please pass this along to your friends and family to increase the number of votes.  The final votes must be casted by Monday, November 21st

The grant is provided by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a national private foundation dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of America through the power of free, live music. Although we support this endeavor, 98.5 KTK and Entercom Communications is not affiliated or conducting this contest and are not responsible for any data submitted or collected as part of thsi process.
