Wet Nose Wednesday-9.23.20

September 23, 2020

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to Sheila.

Sheila is a very fun kitten that's full of life! She loves everyone and is very affectionate. She likes to play too. She would do well with dogs with a proper introduction. Sheila was
diagnosed with FeLV. Though her test was a faint positive, she should be treated as though she has FeLV until she is cleared by a licensed  vet. FeLV cats live full and happy lives with
proper care. She should be the only cat or housed with other FeLV+ cats, but can live with dogs and other animals. Please give us a call to learn more about what it means to care for an FeLV+
cat! Because Sheila cannot be around other kitties, she does not attend our kitten adoption weekends. If you are interested in adopting, you can begin the process by completing an adoption
application [DOG APPLICATION] [CAT APPLICATION]and speaking with one of our on-site adoption counselors.

The Humane Society of North Central Florida is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to eliminate euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs in our community.  The services
provided are only made possible by the support of volunteers, thrift store shoppers and donors. Please consider contributing today!
