Wet nose Wednesday-5.27.20

May 27, 2020

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to, Jack.

“Happy Jack” is a handsome brown and white 5 year old lab mix who has earned his nickname with his perpetually enthusiastic personality. Jack is the type of dog that really enjoys human affection, and he shows it by vigorously wagging his nubby tail. His favorite thing in the world is a belly rub. Around the shelter, he is known by our volunteers for his signature “happy dance.” Previously, he has been fostered home with 4 other dogs, during which time it was reported that he walks very well on a leash and never had an accident in the house. He enjoyed freedom during the day while his foster mom was at work and had the run of the house without any issues. What a gentleman! Would you like to share a happy life with Jack? He’s just waiting to sweep you off your feet with his dance moves, so check him out! If you would like to find out about Jack, please submit an application to learn more [CLICK HERE]. If you’d like to request more information, please email VOCAL [CLICK HERE] or call 352-289-0800.

VOCAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has broken this mission down into 12 key steps to make Marion County a no-kill county. Some of these steps build upon one another, some can be worked in parallel, but all require contributions from people like you. Please consider a monetary donation, donation of needed items or becoming a volunteer.
