Wet Nose Wednesday-11.6.19

November 5, 2019

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to, Iris.

Hi, my name is Iris! I've been at the Humane Society since February of 2019. I love lounging on tall shelves and taking long naps during the day, and I definitely love meal time too! I get along okay with other cats so long as we both respect each other's spaces. I am a senior kitty after all! I've been declawed in my front feet so I don't scratch any furniture, but I can also be a bit sensitive about it too. I'm an independent kitty, and I like to be the one to initiate attention and snuggles, so I'd love a quiet home with someone patient and respectful of my boundaries.  Come visit me at our North Campus of the Humane Society of North Central Florida, 4205 NW 6th Street in Gainesville, Thursday through Sunday from 12pm-6pm.

The Humane Society of North Central Florida is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to eliminate euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs in our community.  The services provided are only made possible by the support of volunteers, thrift store shoppers and donors.  Please consider contributing today!
