Hi, my name is Christy. I'm around 2 years old and am a smaller dog at just 25 pounds. I've been with HSNCF since June of 2019, when I came in with my sister. We both were very scared of people, but with the help of the kind people at HSNCF and a loving foster home, I've come a long way and am ready to find a forever home of my own! I need a VERY patient and loving home that can work with me on my socialization. I'm not aggressive but very scared and would do best in an adult-only home. I can be fearful of men, so I would do better with a female caretaker that can work with me. I need to be on leashed walks only for a while. I do love other dogs, and they really help me with my confidence, so I would need to live in a home with another dog that can help show me the ropes. Thanks to my generous benefactor, Van Messer, my adoption fee is WAIVED!  If you are interested in adopting, you can begin the process by completing an adoption application [DOG APPLICATION] and speaking with one of our on-site adoption counselors.
