Wet Nose Wednesday 9.18.19

September 16, 2019

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to Donovan

With a name like Donovan, we know what you must be thinking… this fine looking black and white feline must be a little gentleman. Surprise, Donovan is actually a sweet young lady! One of our community outreach volunteers discovered Donovan in a feral colony when she was only 4 weeks old. Our volunteer noticed that Donovan had an injury and could not remain in the colony because she would need medical attention and a clean, safe environment to heal. At the time, she thought she had a little boy kitten, and named it Donovan, and by the time the error was realized, the name had already stuck. So now, at a year old, Donovan is still hanging out in her foster home, in the market for a forever home and a new name! Donovan is fostered in a home with several other cats and gets along well with all of them, so if you have other cats that shouldn’t be an issue. She is a very loving and affectionate cat, and will make a wonderful companion. Sweet Donovan needs not only a new first name, but also a last name… could it be yours? If you would like to find out about Donovan, please submit an application to learn more [CLICK HERE]. If you’d like to request more information, please email VOCAL [CLICK HERE] or call 352-289-0800.

VOCAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has broken this mission down into 12 key steps to make Marion County a no-kill county. Some of these steps build upon one another, some can be worked in parallel, but all require contributions from people like you. Please consider a monetary donation, donation of needed items or becoming a volunteer.
