Wet Nose Wednesday-5.15.19

May 14, 2019

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to Pete.

“Thump, thump, thump”… Is that the sound of happy puppy’s tail, or is it your heart pounding with love? When you’re around Pete, it may be hard to tell! This sweet puppy has overcome the physical challenges of being born with some spine and rear leg deformities, and gets around really well in his unique way. His favorite pastimes include running and playing with the other dogs in his foster home, snuggling with people, and sightseeing while riding around town. Since he is just 6 months old, he is still growing, and VOCAL is working closely with his veterinarian to monitor the best course of action for his legs. Pete is searching for an open heart to accept him and love him. In return, he will bring you immeasurable joy and amaze you with his resilience and positivity each day. If you would like to find out about Pete please submit an application to learn more [CLICK HERE]. If you’d like to request more information, please email VOCAL [CLICK HERE] or call 352-289-0800.

VOCAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has broken this mission down into 12 key steps to make Marion County a no-kill county. Some of these steps build upon one another, some can be worked in parallel, but all require contributions from people like you. Please consider a monetary donation, donation of needed items or becoming a volunteer
