Meet, Brownie

September 4, 2018

Helping families become complete with the unwavering love of an adoptable pet, that is why we love Wet Nose Wednesday! Sponsored by Country Critters Veterinary Clinics, inside Rural King Stores in Gainesville and Ocala.   Country Critters Veterinary Clinic is a full-service veterinary clinic, offering top quality pet care, grooming and at an unbeatable price. We care about our patients and will treat your pets like family.

Meet Brownie. This little man is 13 years old but full of life! He loves people, preferring to be in your lap or at your feet more than anywhere else. Brownie came to VOCAL as a transfer from another facility and was in rather poor shape, but is truly doing wonderfully now! While he does have cataracts his foster mom reports that he gets around perfectly well, even loving his short walks around the  neighborhood. Brownie would do best as an only dog, but he does love cats!  If you would like to find out about Brownie please submit an application to learn more [CLICK HERE]. If you’d like to request more information, please email VOCAL [CLICK HERE] or call 352-289-0800.

VOCAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has broken this mission down into 12 key steps to make Marion County a no-kill county. Some of these steps build upon one another, some can be worked in parallel, but all require contributions from people like you. Please consider a monetary donation, donation of needed items or becoming a volunteer.
