Boots

June 4, 2019

Welcome to the 98.5 KTK Wet Nose Wednesday web page, where we show you adoptable pets from local shelters that will make a great addition to your family!

This week we’d like to introduce you to, Boots.

Hi there, my name is Boots! I am a dignified lady hoping to find my forever home. It takes me some time to warm up to new places, but once I do, I am an absolute sweetheart! I love to be around people, but I don't need constant attention and pets. If you take me home with you, I promise to listen to your problems, show off my yoga skills, and cuddle with you at night. My adoption fee is waived thanks to Circa Properties! Come visit me at our North Campus of the Humane Society of North Central Florida, 4205 NW 6th Street in Gainesville, Thursday through Sunday from 12pm-6pm.

The Humane Society of North Central Florida is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to eliminate euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs in our community.  The services provided are only made possible by the support of volunteers, thrift store shoppers and donors.  Please consider contributing today!

The 5th annual North Florida Pet Adoption Days

Each spring, when the weather heats up, rescues and shelters across North Central Florida are flooded with underaged litters of kittens and puppies. In order to maintain a 90% or higher live release rate, Maddie’s Fund Alachua County Animal Rescue partners collaborate on this massive, two-day, free pet adoption event.

Adoptable pets currently at The Humane Society of North Central Florida, Alachua County Animal Services, Haile's Angels Pet Rescue and Puppy Hill Animal Rescue will be available Saturday June 8th and Sunday, June 9th at the following locations:

Adoptable animals will be sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and FREE to approved homes.
